Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara
Your journey begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, where you join other travelers for a shared safari experience. Drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at the viewpoint.
Continue to Maasai Mara, arriving in time for lunch at your camp or lodge. After some rest, head out for your first afternoon game drive in the reserve.
Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.
Day 2: Full Day Masai Mara
Spend the entire day exploring the vast plains of the Maasai Mara National Reserve with packed lunch.
Search for the Big Five and a variety of wildlife including cheetahs, hyenas, wildebeests, and birdlife. Visit the Mara River, where dramatic wildlife action often takes place.
Optional activities:
- Hot air balloon safari (extra cost)
- Maasai village cultural visit
Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.
Day 3: Extended Game Drives in Maasai Mara
Enjoy another full day in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, giving you more time to explore different areas of the reserve.
With an extra day, you can track wildlife movements more closely and improve your chances of spotting elusive animals like leopards and rhinos. During the migration season (July–October), you may witness the incredible Great Wildebeest Migration as herds cross into the Mara.
Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.
Day 4: Masai Mara - Nairobi
After breakfast, enjoy a final short game drive as you exit the park.
Begin your journey back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. Drop-off at your hotel or airport.
