Your driver-guide picks you up from your Nairobi hotel or residence. Begin your journey toward the Rift Valley with a brief stop at the viewpoint for photography and panoramic views.

09:00 AM – Arrive at Lake Naivasha

Upon arrival, head straight for a boat ride on Lake Naivasha.

Activities at Lake Naivasha

• Scenic boat ride on the freshwater lake

• View hippos, fish eagles, herons, and many other birds

• Optional visit to Crescent Island Sanctuary (walking safari)

10:30 AM – Drive to Hell’s Gate National Park

Proceed to the nearby Hell’s Gate National Park, famous for towering cliffs, rock formations, and geothermal features.

11:00 AM – Explore Hell’s Gate

Choose your preferred mode of exploration:

Option 1: Biking Safari

• Rent a bicycle at the park gate

• Cycle through the park as you enjoy views of zebras, giraffes, gazelles, and buffalos

• Visit iconic landmarks such as Fischer’s Tower and the Central Tower

Option 2: Game Drive

• Explore the park in your safari vehicle

• Stop for photos and short walks within the gorge area (if open)

01:30 PM – Lunch

Enjoy lunch at a lodge around Naivasha such as:

• Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort

• Elsamere Conservation Centre

• Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp

(Alternatively, picnic lunch can be arranged.)

03:00 PM – Optional Activities

If time allows, you may enjoy:

• Visit to Elsamere Conservation Centre

• Walk along the lakeshore for photography
