Elevated Rooms and Walkways: The lodge features rooms built on stilts and linked by suspended walkways, providing panoramic views of the waterholes and surrounding plains where animals gather.
Floodlit Waterholes: The waterholes are floodlit at night, offering guests the unique opportunity to observe nocturnal animal activity, including predators like lions and hyenas, from the safety and comfort of the lodge's terraces or bar areas.
Underground Tunnel: An innovative underground tunnel and bunker with ground-level windows allow visitors incredibly close, yet safe, access to the waterhole, bringing them face-to-face with drinking animals such as elephants, buffaloes, and zebras

Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Mombasa – Tsavo West National Park

Depart early for Tsavo West, one of Kenya’s most scenic parks with lava fields, rolling hills, and diverse wildlife.
Enter the park and enjoy your first game drive en route to your lodge/camp.
Afternoon visit to Mzima Springs – a beautiful oasis hosting hippos, crocodiles, and crystal-clear waters.
Continue with wildlife viewing as you explore the park.
Check in, relax, and enjoy dinner.

Overnight: Lodge/Camp in Tsavo West

Day 2: Tsavo West – Taita Hills Sanctuary (Salt Lick Lodge)

Enjoy an early morning game drive in Tsavo West.
Later, exit the park and head to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary.
Arrive for lunch at Salt Lick Safari Lodge, famous for its elevated rooms built on stilts.
Afternoon game drive in the sanctuary to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and an array of birdlife.
Evening wildlife watching right from the lodge’s waterholes, beautifully lit at night.

Overnight: Salt Lick Safari Lodge

Day 3: Salt Lick – Mombasa

Early morning game drive in the sanctuary before breakfast.
Check out and depart for Mombasa, enjoying another game drive en route to the exit gate.
Arrive in the afternoon.

Please note that this safari is fully customizable to suit your travel preferences. You may choose to begin and end the tour in Nairobi, or start in Nairobi and finish in Mombasa if you plan to enjoy a beach extension along the Kenyan Coast.
