Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Transfer to Kampala
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Kampala.

Accommodation: Hotel in Kampala or Entebbe
Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, depart early for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
- Scenic drive through Uganda’s countryside
- Stop at the Equator crossing for photos
- Lunch en route in Mbarara
Arrive in Bwindi in the evening and check in at your lodge.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Experience
This is the highlight of your safari.
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before entering the forest.
- Trek through dense rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family
- Spend one magical hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat
- Experience close encounters with these gentle giants
This life-changing experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is often described as one of the most powerful wildlife encounters in the world.
Return to the lodge for relaxation.

Day 4: Community Visit or Nature Walk – Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, enjoy an optional cultural visit to the Batwa community or a guided forest walk.
Later, transfer to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi, known for its scenic islands and tranquil atmosphere.

Day 5: Return to Entebbe – Departure
After breakfast, begin your journey back to Entebbe.

Gorilla Trekking Information
- Gorilla permits are required and should be booked in advance
- Minimum age: 15 years
- Fitness level: Moderate (trekking can be challenging but rewarding)
